Rotations and Clinics

Residents complete a variety of clinical, public health and population-based rotations throughout their training. Many experiences take place at UMMC, while partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and other health care organizations provide additional opportunities to develop the skills needed for the practice of public health and general preventive medicine.

These experiences provide residents with opportunities to work with diverse patient populations, communities, health systems and public health organizations. Required and elective rotations are designed to complement the residency curriculum and allow residents to develop skills in clinical preventive medicine, public health practice, population health, health systems and other areas of professional interest.
